- Klenteng Sam Po Kong
If you go to Semarang, it doesn’t feel right to go to the Klenteng Sam Po Kong. This pagoda is located on Jalan Simongan, Bongsari, West Semarang. This location is a former stopover and landing place for the first Chinese Muslim Admiral known as Cheng Ho. You can hunt for interesting photo spots here.
Don’t forget also to rent typical Chinese clothes which are available near the main counter. The best time to visit Sam Po Kong Temple is in the afternoon.
- Ayana Gedong Songo
Ayana Gedong Songo is located in Krajan, Banyukuning, Bandungan, Semarang, Central Java. Here you can hang out while enjoying a variety of beautiful spots that are very Instagramable. Ayana’s manager does provide many spots that visitors can use to take pictures, including bubble tents, hot air balloons, unique seats in the middle of the pool, and hammocks. - Vanaprastha Gedong Songo Park
There are also cool spots that you can visit not far from Ayana, it’s Vanaprastha. The location is in the Gedong Songo Temple area, Krajan, Banyukuning, Bandungan. In Vanaprastha, you can visit wooden houses built in the middle of a pine forest. Only by paying an entrance fee of around Rp. 5,000, you can enjoy the beautiful and cool atmosphere while taking pictures at Vanaprastha.
- Avalokitesvara Pagoda
Avalokitesvara Pagoda is located at Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan, Pudakpayung, Banyumanik, Semarang. Like Sam Po Kong, Avalokitesvara Pagoda can also be an interesting photo spot when you visit Semarang. The pagoda, which was built in 1955, has a height of about 45 meters, which consists of seven levels. Each level has four statues of Dewi Kwan Im facing the four cardinal directions.
- Pondok Kopi Umbul Sidomukti
You are guaranteed to feel at home when visiting this Sidomukti Umbul Coffee Cottage for those of you who like coffee. Its location is right at the foot of Mount Ungaran, making this coffee place have a beautiful view and atmosphere. The location is not too complicated. This tourist area is in the same direction as the tourist route to Gedong Songo Temple. From the Gedong Songo gas station, head towards the temple for 100 meters and you will find this place.
